B4E Global Summit 2012 – Berlin
COLLABORATE, INNOVATE, ACT – Delivering the Green Economy

The green economy heralds a new era of opportunity, growth and sustainable development, placing a higher value on social equity, natural capital and ecological services. Delivering this will require an unprecedented level of collaboration, innovation and commitment to action. But what does this actually mean for business?

With the theme “Collaborate, Innovate, Act – Delivering the Green Economy”, the B4E Global Summit 2012 in Berlin will define the role of business as innovator and implementer of solutions for a sustainable world and discuss how policies can help to accelerate sustainable development. The Summit working groups will give specific recommendations and commitments from business for the Rio+20 conference in June 2012. The outcome messages from the Berlin Summit will be carried through a global media campaign under the banner ‘Big ideas for a sustainable future’ over the weeks leading up to the 2012 Earth Summit and shared with key decision makers in Rio+.
