In his current role since September 2009, Richard has responsibility for over £2Bn in retail sales of iconic brands like Walkers, Quaker, Tropicana and, in South Africa, Simba. PepsiCo UK employs over 5500 people across 13 sites. 1500 people work for PepsiCo South Africa in Johannesburg and Cape Town. His PepsiCo career began in 1990, holding roles of increasing seniority across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Richard sits on the Executive Committee of the Food & Drink Federation and is a member of the CBI Climate Change Board.
